Since ancient times, the tourmaline has been known as healing stone. Tourmaline is a natural source that emits negative ions and far infrared (FIR) rays. Tourmaline emits current in the height of 0.06 mA. This corresponds to the current strength with which our nervous system works.
This infrared sauna with tourmaline is a very mild process, which is subjectively perceived as not so hot and is therefore usually more pleasant for the body than the classic hot air sauna, which you know from the pool or hotel.
The radiant heat goes to the subcutaneous tissue and stimulates the metabolism there. In the subcutaneous tissue there are no heat regulation receptors, which is why this procedure is perceived as less hot, even if it is much more efficient for those known sauna effects.
Due to the stimulation of subcutaneous metabolism, strengthening of the immune system, weight loss and better discharge of metabolic products are possible consequences that a hot air sauna cannot achieve at all due to its superficial action in this way.
